Health Department

The Boone County Health Department inspects and permits all Tattoo, Piercing, and/or Body Modification establishments. The Boone County Health Department inspections follow the requirements of the Indiana State Department of Health Sanitary Operation of Tattoo Parlors rule 410 IAC 1-5 as well as Ordinance 2016-06 Boone County Board of Commissioners Tattoo, Piercing, and Body Modification Ordinance.
