Traffic Ticket Deferral Program

The Boone County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office offers an Infraction Deferral Program to eligible drivers who are cited for certain traffic offenses.

The program provides such persons an opportunity to have the traffic ticket dismissed upon the successful completion of the deferral program.  Participation in the program will require drivers to enter into an agreement and successfully complete the terms of that agreement. Terms of the agreement may vary but typically include paying the deferral fee, completing a class through our approved provider and not receiving any other tickets for the length of the deferral program. Eligibility is at the discretion of the Boone County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
