Highway Department

Boone County is committed to improving transportation safety in order to reduce the risk of death and serious injury that result from incidents on our transportation systems. This plan, adopted in September 21, 2020, tells the story of transportation safety needs and outlines strategies to address those needs in our County. Implementation of the plan will improve transportation safety for the county, its people, and its visitors.
