Boone County Council

I am a lifelong resident of Boone County. In 19721 joined our family business, Lamar
Construction designing, selling and building Grain Handling and Storage Systems.
In 19821 took a position with Stormor Inc. as a Territory Manager calling on franchised
dealers in the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

In 19871 joined the Jones Burgess Gennaro Insurance agency as a licensed Insurance
Agent. In 19951 purchased the agency, changing the name of the agency in 1998 to Lamar
& Lamar Insurance, working with my son until his passing in 2018. I sold the Agency to
WalkerHughes Insurance in 2019, and I am currently semi-retired working with
WalkerHughes as an independent consultant.

I was married to Connie Lamar for 27 years until she passed in 2000. We had two wonderful
children together.

I am currently married to Sue Lamar, Sue has two daughters and we share eight fantastic
grandchildren.

I am honored to serve Boone County as a County Councilman at large.
