The Boone County Council has public meetings second Tuesday of the month in the Connie Lamar Room in the Boone County Annex north of the courthouse in Lebanon. Additionally the commissioners do on occasion meet in executive session (provided for by Indiana Code – IC 5-14-1.5-4) throughout the year that is not open to the general public.
Anyone who wants to be on the agenda for a Boone County Council meeting must fill out and submit an Agenda Request Form to the Boone County Auditor’s office. Council meetings are normally on Tuesday and the deadline to submit a request form is 10 a.m. on the Thursday prior to each Council meeting. If the Council meeting is not on a Tuesday because of a county holiday or an emergency closing, the Agenda Request Form must be submitted by 10 a.m. three business days prior to the Council meeting.
