Boone County Agencies Coordinate Cold Weather Response and Assistance for Residents

LEBANON, Ind. — Boone County Emergency Management, in coordination with the Boone County Commissioners, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office and the Salvation Army of Boone County, is monitoring current weather conditions and coordinating response efforts to support residents as needed.

County officials have resources available should weather-related conditions result in displacement or create hardship for individuals or families. Assistance may include temporary shelter or other appropriate placement for those affected.

Residents who require assistance, or who are aware of someone in need of help, are encouraged to contact the Boone County Communications Center at (765) 482-1412, option 4, to be connected with available services.

Boone County agencies remain focused on public safety and community support and will continue to respond as conditions warrant.
