2009 Tax Sale Information

The Boone County tax sale is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2009.  A complete list of parcels being offered at tax sale may be obtained from the following:

1. Newspaper: Properties available for sale have been advertised in the following (dates noted):

Lebanon Reporter: 9/02/09, 9/09/09, 9/16/09

Zionsville Times Sentinel: 9/02/09, 9/09/09, 9/16/09

2.  Website:   Boone County, Indiana Tax Sale 

Prior to the day of the tax sale, owners may make payments toward the minimum sale price.  There is no minimum amount of partial payment required.  After payment of of the $95.00 tax sale cost, any partial payments made will reduce the minimum bid amount and will save total redemption costs to the owner if the property is sold.  Property owners wanting to prevent their parcels from being sold in this year's tax sale must pay all delinquent taxes, penalties, and delinquent special assessments plus the $85.00 tax sale cost.  Payment must be made by cash, cashier's check, certified check, or official check, and must be made payable to the Boone County Treasurer.  No payments will be accepted by the Treasurer after 4:00 p.m. on the regularly scheduled business day before the sale is scheduled.
