Jessica Fouts, County Clerk

212 Courthouse Square

The Clerk's Office is the record-keeper for all county-level court cases: civil, criminal, traffic tickets, estates, guardianships, juveniles. The office issues marriage licenses; processes child support, judgment, and probation payments; issues warrants; and oversees and conducts all elections and campaign finance reporting requirements.

As of March 2012, any Probate fee books along with Will Record that were probated before 1940 are being housed in the Heritage Room at the Lebanon Public Library, as well are the pre-1940 Marriage applications.

The hours of the Library will be better to serve the public for any research for the public to view and copy. For further information, please call 765/482-3460 Ext. 261 or Fax 317/873-5059.
If you need any assistance for records, please feel free to contact my office @765/482-3510 or e-mail
A website has been created by the Indiana Supreme Court for pro se litigation. Not all case types are provided but the site is a very useful tool.
The Clerk's office is not allowed to answer any legal questions.

Online Tax Warrants
For online Tax Warrant searching, please use:
Username = tw06

The Dept of Revenue sends us many tax warrants where the taxpayer looks like it is an individual but really is a business. When searching for what appears to be individuals, be sure to also search that name as a business so that no records are missed. We are looking for ways to do a single search that searches both ways, but have not come up with a viable alternative yet.
